Exile On Caucasus is an amber wine from an iconic terroir: Uroebi. 70% of the harvest was put in Qvevri for a skin contact maceration of 14 days. After the spontaneous fermentation the wine was pressed and racked to Qvevri and old French oak barrels.
In the glass, a yellow color with an golden hue. Very aromatic and fresh on the nose, hints of yellow peaches and hazelnut with nuances of dried apricots and dried tea leaves. The mouth is rich, fresh and complex where dried apricots, almondand honey. The wine has a long and crisp finish supported by a nice rich texture.
